# Space Connect Privacy Notice

**Effective date:** October 12, 2026

**Responsible entity:** Space Connect Investments Company, a Delaware corporation

**Contact:** help@space-connect.com

This Privacy Notice describes the current data practices of the Early Access releases of SC.Community and SC.Artifacts (together, the **Products**). The Products are intended for adult professional and business use by an operator who is at least 18 years old. They are not directed to children.

## 1. Local storage

Each Product is an installed Windows Desktop application. Business data, application settings, local PostgreSQL data, runtime coordination files, and local operational logs are stored in that Product's Windows package LocalState. SC.Artifacts also stores artifact files and generated content in its own local application storage.

The Products do not require a Space Connect cloud account and do not upload the operator's local databases or artifact store to a Space Connect service. The operator controls the device, Windows account, local workspace, information placed in the Products, and exports the operator creates.

## 2. No Space Connect telemetry or automatic log upload

The Products do not send telemetry, analytics, usage histories, license status, activation data, entitlement data, or acceptance state to Space Connect Investments Company. They do not automatically upload logs, diagnostics, business records, artifacts, or database contents.

The Products create local operational logs to diagnose startup, database, storage, rendering, and runtime failures. Those logs may contain timestamps, technical identifiers, local paths, error details, and limited request context. Operators should review diagnostic material before choosing to share it.

## 3. External maps, geocoding, and links

Some SC.Community features make user-directed requests to external providers:

- OpenFreeMap for map styles, tiles, and referenced font resources;
- USGS The National Map for a selected USGS basemap;
- FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer for an enabled flood overlay or legend;
- U.S. Census Bureau Geocoding Services for requested address matching, batch geocoding, or coordinate-to-geography lookup; and
- Google Maps when the operator expressly opens a generated search or directions link.

Depending on the requested operation, a provider can receive the device's network address and details such as map extent, zoom level, tile coordinates, a selected point, longitude and latitude, street address, place text, geographic identifiers, or directions destination. The provider processes that information under its own terms and privacy practices. Space Connect Investments Company does not control those providers.

Opening any external website or provider link leaves the Product. Operators should not send confidential, restricted, or personal information to an external provider unless authorized to do so and willing to use that provider's service.

## 4. User-initiated email

When an operator selects an email support or bug-report action, the Product opens a draft in the operator's chosen email application. The Product does not send the email itself. The operator can review, change, or discard the draft before sending it.

A generated bug-report draft is intended to contain only Product name, version, API contract, current route, and high-level readiness context. It does not intentionally attach logs or include business data, record details, tokens, credentials, machine paths, or other identifiers. Information the operator adds, and the email address and message metadata used by the operator's email provider, are processed under that provider's practices and are received by Space Connect Investments Company only if the operator sends the message.

## 5. Local APIs, plugins, agents, and other tools

While running, the Products expose local loopback APIs for the operator and operator-directed tools. The Products do not provide a cloud identity or authorization service for those APIs. A private script, automation, agent, plugin, or other tool chosen by the operator can read or change information within the capabilities made available to it.

Connected tools may have their own logging, memory, cloud processing, retention, or privacy behavior. The operator is responsible for choosing, configuring, and directing them, protecting local API access, and not exposing a local API beyond controlled devices.

## 6. Imports, exports, and operator responsibility

The Products can import operator-selected information and create files at operator-selected locations. After information is exported or opened in another application, its storage, sharing, backup, retention, and deletion are controlled by the operator and the destination system.

The operator decides what business and personal information to place in the Products and is responsible for applicable permissions, notices, lawful use, retention, security, professional obligations, and third-party rights. The Products do not provide cloud backup, managed security monitoring, or automatic remote recovery.

## 7. Retention and deletion

Space Connect Investments Company does not receive or retain Product data that remains only in local Product storage. Local data remains until the operator deletes it through available Product or operating-system actions, removes it from an export location, or uninstalls the applicable Product.

An in-place package update preserves that package's LocalState. A full Windows uninstall removes the uninstalled Product's package LocalState, including its local database and, for SC.Artifacts, its local artifact store. Uninstalling one Product does not delete the other Product's separate LocalState. Operators who need an independent copy must create and protect one before uninstalling, replacing a device, or making another destructive system change.

Email sent to help@space-connect.com is retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. The operator may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing that address, subject to information Space Connect Investments Company must retain under applicable law.

## 8. Changes and contact

This notice may be updated when Product data practices change. A new public version will identify its effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to help@space-connect.com.
